ST Members spent a weekend in July at the 4th Annual STEM Youth Explore Academy at Kutztown University.
(ST Member Darlene Scott in photo with students.) A 4-Day, 3-Night Residential Camp for Middle School Students in Rotary District #7430 was a weekend full of making new friends and hands-on learning.
Also assisting students at the event were some amazing interns: Steven, Hansika, Tessa and Jacob.
An multi-day event takes many hands, and we were thankful for them! It was great to have Nancy Engel continue Al's legacy by volunteering at the event.
President Sarah Bergin reported for duty on an overnight shift. Nothing unusual to report!
60 brilliant 7th Graders, who were excited about exploring their passions in STEM! Two of these students were sponsored by our club. A great weekend! Thank you for supporting this event by participating in our club and fundraisers.
