What a great day spreading joy to twenty-two families in our community!

Our Rotary members were geared up to start assisting families at the annual "Shop With A Cop" (SWAC) at the Harleysville Wal-Mart. This year, thanks to the generosity of our club, twenty-two families were given a brighter holiday season.  We also had the pleasure of serving next to police officers from our surrounding communities as well as 20+ Souderton Area High School Interact Members. Our Rotary members shared that the families were conscientious shoppers, seeking out deals and stretching their spending before any "fun" gifts were selected. A five-year older shopper, was excited to show President-Elect Sarah Bergin a doll that had a lip-gloss-making kit she selected, as well as her pink "electric" scooter.  It was everything she had ever wanted!  Such joy from a 5 year old!

Franconia Officer Tim Boyle, passed on these words, "We can't thank the STRC enough for the outpouring of support for our SWAC. This was the best year to date with how smooth the day went.  Looking forward to an amazing 2025!!"  Once again Officer Boyle did a great job organizing the event and handling all of the details.

Thank you for the ways you have supported our club over the last year so we can support those in need as well as build relationships with others at this event.  CLICK HERE for additional photo's from the event.
