“This was the best day of my life!” One of Santa’s Rotarian Elves overheard a young shopper say at the “Shop with a Cop” event. Dozens of “elves” helped 16 families select items to make their holidays a bit brighter. Carts filled not only with treats for under the tree, but also with paper towels, toiletries, cleaning supplies and diapers. The $5,000 donated by our club towards this event was wisely spent and greatly appreciated. The event wrapped up at Souderton Pizza and Pasta, where we all enjoyed a delicious lunch and helped distribute additional gifts, including a box of K’nex per family.
