Members of our club joined other community members on Tuesday, March 25 to volunteer at Care & Share Thrift Shoppes in Souderton.
Due to a recent expansion of the Variety Shoppe, large shelving units needed to be moved from one side of the shoppe to the other. We jumped in and quickly removed the product, (Wondering aloud at times what some of the products actually were!) and enjoyed meeting other volunteers who were also assisting with the project. The shelves were moved and were enjoyed by customers the very next day.
Care & Share expressed their gratitude for our service and shared that this was a LARGE task and they truly valued our assistance. Care & Share holds monthly opportunities for community members age 8+ to get involved on the final Tuesday of each month - no orientation required! Just stop by the Welcome Center.
