Just in time for me to reenact one of my favorite scenes from my favorite movie...the signs went up!

This weekend the world is celebrating the 60th anniversary of my favorite movie, "The Sound of Music".  To say I am a "super fan" is a tremendous understatement!  I have had the opportunity to travel to the Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg, Austria twice. As you may recall the ever-perfect Governess (Julia Andrews) ran through the gardens with the children, and sang the "Do-Re-Mi" song and hit that famous high F on the top step.

My daughters were very good sports in reenacting many of the scenes with me from the movie.

I have been spending a lot of time in the park over the past week.  In a way it is very similar to the Mirabell Gardens.  Both locations have people walking around no matter what the hour.  Both are centerpieces of the communities they are located in.

When you come to the park on Saturday, make sure you take a moment to read the major donor wall, and take a moment to thank someone whose name is listed!

Leon Moyer and Karla Myers met with brother, Benjamin Weaver to discuss space strategies with the Sculpture Park. My brother is an artist who has spent a portion of his career at a foundry creating and installing public sculptures.  It was interesting to hear his perspective on these final touches for the park.

After our Rotary Meeting this week, the committee met to finalize the final details for the "Party in the Park". We still need volunteers - CLICK HERE - to sign up!

I look forward to seeing you soon, at the Park!
