It was a delight to hear from three students participating in 4-H. The animals they are raising will be auctioned off at the 31st MONTCO 4-H Market animal sale held at the Farm, Home and Youth Fair August 8 - 10.
Marley Anders, Sammy Freed and Sage Frankenfield shared with us about their animals and what they have enjoyed about their time at 4-H. Attending with them was Amy Garges, a Penn State Extension 4-H Educator in Montgomery County, PA. In MONTCO there are 20 traditional clubs, 400 traditional members and 2,000+ in school enrichment! Wow - 4-H continues to grow and provide opportunities to students in our communities.
