Tracey Reed from the Indian Valley Public Library spoke at a recent meeting and shared some impressive statistics.

Did you know that 60% of Indian Valley residents have a library card, compared to the national average of 51%? The library hosts five book clubs, and in 2024 more than 115,000 people walked through its doors. Beyond books, the library also offers a “Library of Things,” where you can borrow everything from portable DVD players and a projection screen to a loom and even color-blind glasses. A Wine Tasting fundraiser is coming up on the first Saturday in February, and ST Rotary member Liz Herman is organizing a group to attend. We are thankful that such a valuable resource is part of our community.
