Over the weekend, six rising juniors from Souderton Area High School attended Camp Neidig thanks to our club and the Harleysville Rotary Club!
The students had a lot of nervous chatter on the ride out to the camp. ST Rotary Member, Dan Yocum did his best to reassure them, and reminded them that most of the other participants were feeling just as nervous! They were a great group of students so we knew they would have a good experience!
Two teachers from SA High School, (also the Interact Advisors) Jen Detweiler and Alison Kircher and ST Rotary Members Sarah Bergin and Karla Myers attended the Closing Ceremony. Upon arrival, they were immediately approached by the six incredibly enthusiastic students who expressed their gratitude for the experience. They were soooooooo excited! During the program, several of the students spoke - they represented us well! Save August 1 - they will be sharing at our meeting.
