This year’s Souderton-Telford Rotary Thanksgiving Dinner felt extra special as members gathered inside the beautifully restored train car at the Bay Pony Inn. The intimate, historic setting created the perfect backdrop for reflection, connection, and friendship.

As we enjoyed dinner together, members were invited to share their answer to one simple question:
“Looking back on the past year, what Rotary experience makes you smile?”
The responses were heartfelt, varied, and a wonderful reminder of the impact our club makes—both in our community and around the world. Highlights included:
- The joy and inspiration drawn from our Youth Exchange program
- Pride in the diversity of the Souderton–Telford community
- Watching 100 Interact members get hands-on with Project C.U.R.E.
- Nance Engle’s thoughtful gift of Al’s shirts—a moment of love and remembrance
- The gift of overcoming challenges together as a club
- The transformative, life-changing work of Rotaplast
- The importance of compromise and working through differences
- Gratitude for simply being part of this club—a place where “you are among friends”
- Appreciation for Rotary friends, old and new
- Celebrating Rotary Park and the club’s continued support of the park project
- The many friendships strengthened throughout the year
- The excitement of the drone show and its community impact
- Working alongside Leon Moyer
- Partnering with people who are truly making a difference
- And the accomplishment of creating our strategic document to guide our future
The evening was a beautiful reminder of why we gather, serve, and support one another. Surrounded by friends in a cozy train car, we celebrated not just Thanksgiving—
we celebrated Rotary.
we celebrated Rotary.
