One of the unique and meaningful experiences offered through our Centennial Auction fundraising efforts was recently enjoyed by a group of supporters who purchased a private fundraising dinner to benefit the Souderton Telford Rotary Foundation.
The evening was graciously hosted at the home of Steve and Judy Kendra, creating a warm and welcoming setting for a memorable night of fellowship and community impact. Adding to the special nature of the event, the dinner was prepared and hosted by Souderton Telford Rotary’s Youth Exchange student, Sarah de Lis Gomes, who is visiting from Brazil. Sarah prepared a delicious meal featuring dishes from her home country, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy authentic Brazilian cuisine while learning more about her culture and experiences as an exchange student.

Events like this highlight the spirit of Rotary — bringing people together while supporting meaningful work in our community. Fundraising dinners such as this help raise vital funds for the philanthropic efforts of our club, including student scholarships and support for community needs and local service requests.
We are grateful to Steve and Judy Kendra for opening their home, to Sarah de Lis Gomes for sharing a taste of Brazil and making the evening so memorable, and to the supporters who participated in this experience. Their generosity helps ensure that the Souderton Telford Rotary Foundation can continue making a positive impact in the lives of students and community members alike
