Greetings Rotary Members!
Over the years….I have heard a range of feedback from our club membership regarding our weekly input.  An idea I took away from the recent Vibrant Club Summit was to lean on club membership for the weekly input.  This method has a proven track record in other clubs for providing a wider range of topics, while it welcomes more people who might be a future member!

What better time to try this out as we head into our 100th Year in 2025!  Vice President Frank Tranzilli and I will be reaching out to each member.  We will want to know which Thursday in 2025 you are going to commit to find the speaker.  Your speaker could be a professional person from a field that interests you.  It could be a speaker about a hobby of yours.  If you have been with the club for a while, perhaps you would like a “redo” on your introduction speech!  Perhaps you would like to lead a panel discussion.  Or maybe you would like to organize an off-site adventure!  Two caveats:  As much as we would like to know about YOU – this is not the opportunity to promote your business.  Regarding non-profits being asked to share. The non-profit would need to reflect an area of Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus.  All speakers will need to be presented to Frank or myself at least 30 days in advance.  This will allow us to have plenty of time to ask questions and promote the speaker.

For those of you who previously “did the leadership chairs” and now might be thinking, “I had to do all of that work to find speakers – you two are taking the easy way out!”, please know, this is not the case. We want the speakers to be of interest to the club!  We look forward to learning more about Rotary Members through the speakers they choose.  So, who will go first on our first open date on January 9?

Looking forward to connecting with you soon
