Join us in spreading Holiday Cheer!  We will meet at the IV Boys & Girls club and then to the Souderton Mennonite Home, followed by pizza at Broad Street Italian Cuisine and Pizzeria!

We’re excited to support the Franconia Township Police Benevolent Association’s “Shop with a Cop” program! This heartwarming annual event brings together local law enforcement and our community to help area children and their families enjoy a brighter holiday season by choosing gifts for their loved ones—creating meaningful connections and unforgettable moments.

Souderton-Telford Vice President, Rick Kowey, who is currently President & CEO of Universal Gas Technologies witll share with us about a game-changing methodology for involving company leadership teams in the generation of differentiating and winning business models he learned about 20 years ago.  Since then, Rick has deployed this simple, “four-corners” framework to transform several high-technology businesses, most recently introducing it to participants in the 2025 Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce Legacy Leaders Program.  Rick will provide a brief introduction to the methodology as an effective means to “work on your business.

Jeremy Miller, 9th and 10th grade Assistant Principal for Souderton Area High School will join us to present Character Counts.  Character Counts provides resources, training, and tools (like workshops, modules on communication, integrity, mindset) for workplaces, families, and communities to foster ethical behavior, using the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. These programs focus on practical skills, leadership, positive culture, and integrating values into daily actions, moving beyond just youth education to build strong organizational cultures and communities.

As part of our Centennial celebration, we’re shining a spotlight on the meaningful projects our club has supported for over 100 years—including our long-standing partnership with the Indian Valley Public Library. Join us for a special dinner featuring author Julie Henning, the adopted daughter of Pulitzer Prize–winning author Pearl S. Buck. Julie will share her inspiring journey from her memoir, A Rose in a Ditch. This promises to be an engaging and uplifting evening—celebrating resilience, storytelling, and the vital role the Indian Valley Public Library plays in our community. You won’t want to miss it! Guests are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Wildlife rehabilitation organizations are dynamic, mission-driven nonprofits on the front lines of protecting wild animals and the ecosystems we all rely on. Powered by generous donors, dedicated grants, and passionate volunteers, they provide compassionate, round-the-clock care to thousands of injured and orphaned animals every year. Beyond rescue and recovery, these organizations inspire our community through hands-on education about coexisting responsibly with the wildlife around us. This vital work demands expert training, rigorous permits, and an incredible investment of time and heart—all focused on one powerful goal: returning healthy animals to the wild and safeguarding the natural balance that strengthens our entire community. Rotary member Kelli Scarlett, a committed rehabilitation volunteer, will share firsthand stories of this impactful work and explore how ethical decision-making in wildlife care reflects the principles of Rotary’s Four-Way Test.

Wellbeing, Purpose, and the Ripple Effect of One Inspired Choice

Lori reveals how transformation begins with one inspired choice: the choice to live an extraordinary life. When individuals choose alignment, joy, and renewed wellbeing, everything expands—clarity strengthens, purpose awakens, and the energy to uplift others flows naturally. Drawing from her own reinvention and the transformational retreat experiences she curates, Lori shows how honoring your whole self sparks the confidence, creativity, and compassion that create meaningful change in the world.

This uplifting session guides individuals to reconnect with their values, celebrate their strengths, and cultivate micro-moments of self-love and self-renewal that fuel purposeful action. When people feel centered and aligned, their impact radiates outward—into their families, workplaces, and communities—creating a powerful ripple effect of possibility and service. Attendees leave energized, purpose-driven, and ready to elevate the world around them through the extraordinary life they choose.

Join us for one of our most anticipated events of the year—the Annual Four-Way Test Speech Contest! Talented students from Souderton Area High School will take the stage to share thoughtful, inspiring speeches rooted in Rotary’s Four-Way Test. The contest will be held in the Souderton Area High School Library and includes a catered meal. Guests are warmly welcome, and attendance is always strong as we look forward each year to the fresh perspectives and meaningful topics the students bring. RSVP is required.

Join us for the Souderton Telford Rotary Strategic Planning Session as we look ahead and shape the next two years of our club’s impact. Our Centennial year has been a proven success thanks to thoughtful, advance planning and the contributions of members from across our club—and now we need that same commitment from everyone. The Strategic Planning Committee and Board of Directors will present three key areas of focus and are seeking your ideas, feedback, and vision. This is an important opportunity to be heard, collaborate with fellow Rotary Members, and help set meaningful goals for our future. Please plan to attend and be fully engaged as we work together to build on our momentum.

One of the highlights of our year is the 4-Way Test Speech Contest—and in celebration of our Centennial year, we’re turning the spotlight on our own Rotary members! This year, club members will compete by sharing how they apply the 4-Way Test to topics that matter most to them, while members of the Souderton Area Interact Club take on the roles of MCs and judges. Join us for an evening of insight, inspiration, and friendly competition as our members vie not only for bragging rights, but also for the chance to direct a donation to the charity of their choice.

Join us for the Annual Souderton Area High School Interact Club Presentation, one of our favorite meetings of the year! Interact students will share highlights from the past year, including service projects, leadership experiences, and the impact they’ve made in our school and community. This inspiring presentation offers a firsthand look at how these young leaders are living out Rotary’s values through service above self—and why our continued support of Interact is so important. Guests are welcome as we celebrate the energy, creativity, and commitment of our next generation of leaders.
