Dear Rotarians and friends,
I was reminded that “Love is not only something you feel, it is something you do” (David Wilkerson) this week as people celebrated Valentine’s Day around the world. Of the 5 love languages, acts of service is my favorite.
The picture above was created by one of my daughter, Sarah’s, kindergarten students and it made me appreciate the simplicity of love through a child’s eyes. The student feels the love Sarah pours into her through her daily commitment to guiding her to learn and grow and the student does her best to give the love right back by working hard in class and creating this picture of the two of them, peaceful, happy, and surrounded by love.
This is my wish for children of all ages everywhere.
