Dear Rotarians and friends,
Last Thursday night, we pushed the tables together at Broad Street Grind and enjoyed dinner together as we discussed our goals for the new year family style.
We covered a wide range of topics as we shared personal and professional ideas about what we would like to do in the coming months.  There were a few themes that stood out to me.

Our members are committed to serving others.  So many of us talked about plans to doing more to serve others in our businesses, our families, and our Rotary community.  When we consider the impact of our efforts on the world, it will undoubtedly be a better place as a result.

There is so much to celebrate in the past, present and future.  We started the evening talking about the many club accomplishments over the past 99 years.  Several members then reflected on desires to do more of what they enjoy in the present.  There were also so many ideas for what we will do in our 100th year, which begins in only 6 months.  STRC is such a legacy to the community.

We are continuously adapting.  The needs of the world are constantly changing, and we are all changing to meet those needs.  The better we are at doing that, the better our chance are of surviving and thriving.

I left the meeting with a much greater appreciation of each person and with the hope that so much of what is planned for in 2025 will come to fruition.  I look forward to hearing more and following your journeys throughout the year.  Thank you so much for sharing!
Happy New Year!
