Niki Weiss, Digital Legacy Thanatologist presented an informative and lively presentation on tasks we should be completing now to make our death less complicated.
The first task she walked us through was establishing a "Legacy" contact in your phone. Just because someone knows your password to your phone does not mean they will be able to retrieve your data. For instance, the phone is destroyed - the Apple store will not give you access to the phone unless you are listed as a legacy contact. As time marches on...more and more data is on our phones - so it is highly advisable to complete this step! The process is simple to do so - as easy as "googling" the directions and following the steps. As an Android user, I was able to add up to 10 contacts on my google account. I also took the opportunity to discuss this with my family - so they know that if my account is inactive, they will get an email to connect to my data. If you do not have this set up, please take the time to do so.

Thank you ST Rotary Member Michelle Kane for connecting us with this dynamic speaker. As you may recall, Board Members were challenged to help provide speakers. So far each Board Member has really "hit a home run" with the programming they have suggested! Thank You!
I hope you will take the time to join us this week to hear one of our own members share with us some of the amazing photography he has captured right from his back yard in Souderton!
See you on Thursday
