We had a fascinating and inspiring program at the Souderton Telford Rotary Club this week! Our own member, Kelli Scarlett, shared about her volunteer work with AArk Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center.

Through firsthand stories, Kelli gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible care, dedication, and ethical decision-making involved in wildlife rehabilitation.

From injured owls to orphaned mammals, we learned how every decision is guided not only by compassion, but by responsibility — ensuring the best outcome for the animal, the environment, and the community.

Kelli also helped us explore how ethical wildlife care aligns beautifully with Rotary’s Four-Way Test:
• Is it the Truth?
• Is it Fair to all concerned?
• Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
• Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

We were also pleased to welcome two students visiting from the Souderton Area High School Interact Club. It’s always encouraging to see young leaders engaging with Rotary and learning how service and ethical leadership go hand in hand.

Thank you, Kelli, for reminding us that “Service Above Self” extends to all living creatures — and for inspiring both our members and the next generation of leaders. 🌿
